WALK OF THE WARRIOR

     The primary objectives and purposes of this corporation shall be:(a) To provide instruction in the 12 step recovery for alcohol & substance abuse, outreach brought from American Indians to American Indians delivered to State and Federally recognized American Indian reservations; (b) To provide instruction in tribal ceremonies and healings for the purpose of cleansing, purification, and detoxification from alcohol & chemicals; (c) To hold Healing Gatherings on reservations which include tribal dancers, drum groups, bird singers, to instill sense of pride in culture, motivational speakers on the subject of alcohol & substance abuse, with educational booths to provide knowledge & services for diabetes, battered women, child parenting classes, suicide rates, nutrition, and intervention; (d) To establish after care, to do follow up progress reports, to continue to give support and evaluation of efficiency. (e) We will refer clients to the appropriate local services for counseling.
